This undescribed Dendrobium species from section Grastidium is a medium sized epiphytic plant found growing in the lower montane forest of New Guinea (c.1600m). Plants produce inflorescences along the lateral apical portion of the patent growing stems (alternating sides between the leaves) multiple times a year.
