May 21, 2010 · I'm building a partscaster using an HSS fender body with vintage 6 hole 56mm outer hole spacing for the bridge. I see that there are bridge options with 56, 54, 53 and 52 mm string spacing. What are the considerations for picking the string spacing? Thanks, George

Mar 14, 2021 · I have a Pro 2 and an Ultra, and had a Pro 1 as well. It would be tough to choose between the Ultra and the Pro 2 for me, they’re both excellent. The Pro 2 is probably the more traditional ‘stratty’ of the two, but both play really well. If it were a choice of upgrading from a Pro 1 to a Pro 2, I’d say it’s not worth it.

The pro II has improved their pickups making them very usable in my opinion but what you describe in terms of sound you’ll get it in more modern strats and if it is not fender you might like to try a music man cutlass or a suhr also because also the prs silver sky is perfect for what you described.

Sep 3, 2024 · The Fullerton era reissues and the 2012-2017 American vintage series seem to be the ones most coveted, but my view is as an outsider so that’s just going on what I’ve read on this and other forums and articles. I personally have had an AVRI 57 strat (2007) and an AO 60s telecaster (2018) and they were both excellent, but quite different.
