Spotify has better playlists, user interface, and podcasts. Youtube is better for finding stuff that might not be on Spotify. Rare stuff is easy to find. Spotify is like a 9/10. Youtube is like a 6/10 but add a commercial free youtube and it jumps to 9/10 and the differentiating factor is value and YM wins. Reply reply.

Feb 22, 2023 · Trying to convert the spotify playlist to a youtube playlist fails at around 500 songs. I just wrote a program to do that, it's a set of Python scripts, and I moved around 700 "liked" songs, one playlist with 500 songs, and maybe a dozen smaller ones. You're the GOAT for this.

cdegallo. •. First thing is not playing from all tracks on a playlist when I shuffle. Second thing is its use on smart displays; my biggest problem with youtube music is it does not let you make sure that a music video is never played when you request google assistant to "play some music."

Mar 20, 2022 · the progressive web app is the same as running youtube music in a web browser. I have since been able to utilised a different user agent which resulted in the tablet/desktop mode for youtube music. This mode doesn't have the same restrictions as the mobile mode.

YouTube Music Pros: It draws everything from YT so you can listen to things like "sped up, pitched" etc. because somebody might have uploaded it on YT. I think the music here is louder than on Spotify — compare two same songs. I only had one occurrence where it was the otherwise. You can comment on songs.

Sep 12, 2022 · I've used YouTube (vanced) Music as well for a while and its suggestions for me weren't as good. But in any case I usually know what I want to listen to. Apart from that, I'm not sure (cause I haven't tested) but I think that once you import a YT/YTM playlist on ViMusic it remains that way, even if it's altered later by whoever.

My Experience YT Music vs Spotify. I was looking to switch over to YT Music, as I wanted the ability to be able to cast my uploads, however unfortunately there are several shortfalls of YT Music that has pushed me back to Spotify. Limit of 5000 songs per playlist. For people like me with 9000 songs in a playlist, this is an annoying limit.
