Jan 6, 2013. #3. The scale length is the same as a Les Paul. If the string brand and gage are the same for both guitars and setup (especially neck relief and stopbar height) are the same, the two guitars should have the same feel. I've always used 10s on Gibsons.

The SG has a "hardwood body" (no Mahony) 3-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard. 1 tone and 2 volume knobs. The color look likes green The finish has many cracks.

For this reason you’ll find them used all over the place, (rightly or wrongly) doing a variety of jobs, Logarithmic pots are a little bit more specialised. They offer very narrow control range.

Posted December 29, 2009. The 90's one is called the All-American SG-I it was a remake of the 70's one. In 98 Gibson added a pickguard and painted it in new colors and called it the SG-X. The guitar came in Fireburst and Black. It has a Gibson 500T in the bridge, 24 frets, Coil Tab, and 1 Volume and 1 Tone.
