Mississippi National Guard will deploy 200 troops to Washington as part of the Trump administration’s ongoing federal policing and immigration overhaul in the nation’s capital.

Gov. Patrick Morrisey is sending the West Virginia National Guard to Washington, D.C., to bolster the Trump administration’s policing of the nation’s capital through a federal crackdown.

Mr Trump, who deployed the National Guard to Washington and took federal control of its police force last week, insisted on Monday that restaurants were “busier than they’ve been” in a long time.
