Temperatures across Massachusetts will remain high on Monday, with highs at or near 90 joining with intense humidity to make it feel very warm throughout the state. National Weather Service forecasters issued a Heat Advisory for almost the entire state, excluding the Berkshires and the South Coast, warning of heat index values as high as 96.

Thunderstorms are in the forecast for every day this work week. Overall, severe thunderstorm chances will be on the low side, if they are even worth mentioning. Furthermore, outside of Tuesday, only isolated thunderstorm coverage is anticipated.

CBS News New York's Vanessa Murdock says the best chance for severe weather will happen on Monday and Tuesday as the area deals with temperatures in the upper 80s with high humidity.
