By Hyunsu Yim and Ju-min Park SEOUL (Reuters) -At least 62 people were killed when an airliner veered off the runway and erupted into a fireball as it slammed into a wall at South Korea's Muan International Airport on Sunday,

The crash occurred as a Jeju Air passenger plane, carrying 175 passengers and six crew on a flight from Bangkok, was landing Sunday morning.

The death toll is expected to rise as at least 85 people, including 46 women and 39 men, died in the fire, reported South Korea ’s National Fire Agency. It said the fire at the site of the plane collision was almost doused but the emergency team was still trying to rescue people from inside the plane.
