Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is coming, and that should not be a surprise. Virtually everything is given a franchise these days as studios try desperately to recreate the MCU with their own IPs.

Sonic the Hedgehog has been on an upswing lately. His movies proved to be better than people were expecting, which might as well be an Academy Award nomination by video game movie standards.

Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) didn't receive too much praise from fans upon its release, but one area where Sonic Team knocked it out of the park was the villain, Mephiles.

Multiple Sonic games have been released since that short, and the pink-haired girl has never been seen anywhere else. At least, not until Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 only gives us a brief glimpse at Amy, so it’s difficult to say how her character will be adapted into the world of the movies.
