Dreamville music festival, founded by J. Cole, will continue under a new name, promising a better experience for attendees.

“I went to the first, and now I’m coming to the last (Dreamville Festival), so this is proper send-off,” said Simon, a Chapel Hill resident. A variation of the festival will continue for the next four years in the park, but fans said goodbye this weekend to the original event hosted by rapper J. Cole.

Now that J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival has come to an end, fans reflect on what the iconic Raleigh-based event has meant to them.
