The Big 12 Conference went 1-1 on Saturday during the NCAA Women’s Tournament, as TCU advanced to the Elite Eight. Behind Hailey Van Lith, the Horned Frogs advanced to the final eight for the first time in program history with a 71-62 victory over Notre Dame.

The SEC, Big Ten and Big 12 gobbled up more than 50 percent of all the multi-million dollar units available in the tournament.

Through the opening two rounds of the NCAA tournament, the Big 12 boasts a record of 10-3. The seven teams from the conference chosen to participate in March Madness went 6-1 in the first round, followed by a 4-2 performance in the Round of 32.
