NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Antioch High School, the school that experienced a tragic shooting leading to the death of one student two weeks ago, had one of its students arrested today due to making verbal threats to a teacher.

Much like a person standing in an airport line, making certain threatening statements, even in jest, are taken very seriously by school administrators, who reported this instance to the police department,

The Metro Nashville Police Department said a 17-year-old boy asked a teacher "What if I bring a gun?" and "What if I bomb the school?"

We will not be naming them out of fear of retribution and losing their jobs. These three teachers said school leaders and administration put them and others in the building at risk that day.
