Julian McMahon, an Australia-born actor who performed in the “Fantastic Four” series of films and appeared in popular TV shows such as “Charmed,” “Nip/Tuck” and “Profiler,” has died.

The Charmed family lost another member. Julian McMahon, the Australian actor whose credits spanned both TV and film, unfortunately passed away this past week. According to reports, McMahon died following a battle with cancer,

McMahon was known for portraying villain Doctor Doom in 2005's Fantastic Four and the 2007's sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. He also played Christian Troy in Ryan Murphy's Nip/Tuck and Cole Turner in Charmed. His more recent credits were in The Residence and The Surfer.
