The United States is finalising steps to clear hurdles for civil nuclear partnership with Indian firms, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Monday, seeking to give fresh momentum to a landmark deal between the two countries.

Sullivan, the top official in the outgoing Joe Biden administration, is in India to hold talks with NSA Ajit Doval on space, defence, strategic technology cooperation.
