French veteran Gael Monfils has become the oldest player to win an ATP Tour title after beating Zizou Bergs 6-3, 6-4 in Auckland.

Gael Monfils became the oldest singles champion in ATP Tour history when the 39-year-old Frenchman swept to victory in the final of the Auckland Classic on Saturday.
