Going into the final week of the 2024 NFL season, the Denver Broncos have three possible paths to clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs. The first and simplest path would be to beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bender: "The Chiefs are planning to rest starters in Week 18, meaning Carson Wentz will get the start. That theoretically creates a path for the Broncos to clinch a playoff spot with Bo Nix. This is still an AFC West game, however, and Kansas City's defense will allow them to hang around. Denver is 4-0 S/U and 4-0 ATS in its past four home games.

The Denver Broncos have twice had an opportunity to end their eight-year playoff drought. And twice they’ve come away losers. Now, with just one week left in the regular season, they will get one more shot to punch their ticket to the postseason with the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town.
