The defamation lawsuit comes in response to defense attorney Jeffrey Lichtman casting doubts on President Sheinbaum’s efforts to fight corruption.

Claudia Sheinbaum stated yesterday during to the nation that her administration is exploring a lawsuit, with Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs providing legal and diplomatic support to Garcia’s family.
