McLaurin is entering the final year of a three-year extension he signed in 2022, worth $71 million. McLaurin is due to count $25.5 million against Washington's 2025 salary cap.

Contract talks between the Commanders and star receiver Terry McLaurin remain at a stalemate ahead of this month's training camp.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Sunday's edition of SportsCenter that McLaurin "is not happy with where things are with an extension." He added that the Commanders will "have a couple of weeks here to make progress" before McLaurin's holdout could potentially extend into training camp.
