Advance Auto Parts revealed in a recent earnings report that it will be closing more than 700 locations following dismal financial results.

Advance Auto Parts is closing more than 500 stores and shedding another 200 independent locations. The announcement came as the struggling car parts retailer posted disappointing quarterly results.

Amid a year of sagging sales, Advance Auto Parts said it plans on closing more than 700 locations by mid-2025. The company said it will shut down 727 of its 4,492 stores. Of those 727 stores to close, 523 are corporate owned while the other 204 are independently owned. A list of closing locations was not immediately available.
