By Newsbase US LNG producer Venture Global has been granted a conditional export licence for its Calcasieu Pass 2 (CP2) facility in Louisiana, the US Department of Energy (DOE) announced on March 19.

The authorization for the CP2 project echoes a similar approval granted to the Commonwealth LNG project last month.
