On Wednesday afternoon, Silas Barksdale made the decision to flip his pledge from the Rams to the Cavaliers and join Odom, who late last month left his post as VCU coach to take the same job at UVa.

Barksdale, a 6-foot-8 center headed to VCU, was instrumental in both stanzas. “We routinely made the extra pass and established Silas early,” Woodside coach Stefan Welsh said.
