Investigators believe the pilot involved in a deadly plane crash in Alaska may have been avoiding a loose dog on the runway.

Dominique Goods-Burke spent the past three months at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital, a spokesperson for the city’s Medical Examiner’s Office said.
