Liam Lawson has set himself the “job” he has to do returning Red Bull to Formula 1 Constructors’ title glory alongside Max Verstappen. Lawson, with just 11 Grand Prix starts under his belt has been drafted into the senior Red Bull squad after Sergio Perez ’s 2024 campaign was a cascading tale of disappointment.

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has told Liam Lawson he must be winning points at every Grand Prix and assisting Max Verstappen at the very front of the grid in 2025. The New Zealander has replaced Sergio Perez and will drive alongside Verstappen this year.

The F1 launch event took place at the O2 Arena in London on February 18, 2025, wherein all Formula 1 teams and racers showcased their cars for the upcoming season.
