Flash flooding could impact parts of south central and southeastern Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, Boston meteorologists warned.

On Monday at 2:16 a.m. a flood watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. for Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington and Cumberland counties.

The NWS Blacksburg VA issued a flood watch at 2:11 a.m. on Wednesday valid from 2 p.m. until Thursday 2 a.m. for Stokes County.
