Country music singer George Strait announced plans to host a dinner and concert to benefit victims of the catastrophic flooding across the Texas Hill Country.

George Strait is hosting a benefit concert on July 27 to aid Texas Hill Country flood victims, featuring fellow artists and proceeds going to the Vaqueros Del Mar Texas Flood Relief Fund.

"This event is to raise meaningful, immediate support that can be put directly into the hands of flood victims without delay."

While the weekend will be mainly hot and humid, there is a daily chance for rain, too. Because the ground is so saturated from recent floods, we’ll have to monitor for isolated incidents of flooding, especially across the Hill Country.
