Model Elizabeth Hurley and singer Billy Ray Cyrus surprised fans last weekend when they hard-launched their relationship on social media ― but, according to Cyrus, their romance had actually been brewing for some time.

"It's just a good thing. It's been a long time since I've been this happy," said Billy Ray Cyrus on Apple Music Country's 'The Ty Bentli Show' after revealing his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley earlier this week.

The 63-year-old "Achy Breaky Heart" singer dished on his new relationship on a recent episode of The Ty Bentli Show podcast, during which he revealed that Hurley, 59, reached out to him two years after they connected on the set of the 2022 Hallmark movie, Christmas in Paradise.
