Baltimore's iconic Francis Scott Key Bridge was hit by a ship and collapsed one year ago. Since then, state and federal leaders have collaborated to fund and reconstruct a brand-new bridge, which is expected to be finished by the fall of 2028.

Almost one year later, investigators have given an update concerning the Baltimore bridge collapse that killed 6 construction workers.

A top safety official said that state officials overseeing the bridge failed to conduct an assessment of its risk of collapse.
