A 'Jeopardy!' contestant is speaking out on the "very problematic" clue that host Ken Jennings read during her appearance on the game show.

While the ending to the 20th-century phrase was indeed correct, it wasn’t great timing considering another contestant, upstate New York health program director Heather Ryan, was wearing glasses.

"Jeopardy!" contestant Heather Ryan is speaking out after she experienced an awkward encounter on the beloved game show. Ryan, a health program director from Binghamton, New York, admitted the "sexist" clue that caused quite the buzz on "Jeopardy!

Jennings then read the clue, saying, "Men seldom make passes at…." Will Wallace, the reigning champion at the time, buzzed in before Ryan and fellow contestant Ian Taylor -- who would go on to win the episode -- to correctly answer,

Jeopardy!' player Heather Ryan said that the 'girls who wear glasses' clue on her episode was an 'odd choice' that made everybody 'a little uncomfortable.'

I think it made everybody in the audience and onstage, and Ken Jennings too, a little uncomfortable," contestant Heather Ryan said.
