Hisense introduces its 1st-ever consumer microLED TV
Hisense launches first “consumer-ready” Micro LED TV at CES 2025 – but should OLED be worried?
Hisense’s latest “consumer” 136MX MicroLED TV wants to cement the tech as the new premium option for home cinema fans – but we don’t know a key detail.
I'm the first to see Hisense's 'consumer ready' 136-inch MicroLED TV up close — and it's simply jaw-dropping
It’s not just about the display and supporting hardware, though. The 136MX is powered by Hisense’s flagship Hi-View AI Engine X, which uses AI-based algorithms to reproduce a picture frame-by-frame. And with features like a 120Hz Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode, and FreeSync Premium Pro, it could make a pretty sick gaming experience.
Hisense goes big with new TriChroma LED TV and a consumer microLED
We’re gonna admit it. The new Hisense TriChroma LED TV took us by surprise here at CES 2025, and piqued our interest to high levels. The unveiling of the 116-inch 116UX introduces what looks to be a new step forward in mini-LED display technology, but we also do have questions. First, here’s what we know.
Hisense’s 136MX Consumer-Ready MicroLED TV is Breathtaking and Going to Be Very Expensive: CES 2025
Hisense today (January 6, 2025) unveiled the 136MX MicroLED TV, the brand’s first consumer-ready MicroLED display. This launch marks a pivotal milestone in making cutting-edge display technology more accessible to households, catering to the growing demand for larger, more immersive screens without compromising durability or long-term performance.
Hisense’s TriChroma TV could be the middle ground between Mini LED and MicroLED
For some people, there’s at least more of a chance of actually owning the also-new 116-inch TriChroma LED TV. That’s because, at its core, this is still a Mini LED set. But Hisense has developed a new local dimming system that it calls “RGB Local Dimming Technology.” The key benefit here seems to be color vibrance:

Hisense Reveals Two New Giant TVs — One Debuting Tri-Chroma LED TV Technology And One Using MicroLEDs
The most eye-catching of the two in terms of showcasing a new technology that we can expect to spread down to less gigantic and so more affordable/mainstream screens is the 116-inch 116UX, which as well as simply being huge also marks the consumer debut of Hisense’s new RGB Local Dimming Display Technology.

Hisense just introduced its first consumer microLED television at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The 136MX includes a high-density array of over 24.88 million LEDs.
Hisense's 116-inch TriChroma LED TV promises widest color gamut ever in a Mini LED display
The words 'sleek' and 'elegant' are often used to describe modern TV design, but Hisense has earned those terms with the 116UX.
