Trade deadline acquisitions Erik Johnson and Charlie Coyle spoke to Colorado media members prior to tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Philadelphia Flyers made three trades at the NHL trade deadline, including shipping out one of their team leaders. The Flyers traded center Scott Laughton, defenseman Erik Johnson and winger Andrei Kuzmenko in three separate moves Friday.

While the Flyers moved on from Laughton, which general manager Danny Brière says "it’s a little scary," the team is excited about keeping defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen.

Both just traded, longtime Boston teammates Charlie Coyle and Brandon Carlo sat by each other on the plane ride to Colorado. One last heart-to-heart chat before going their separate ways. Coyle was dealt to Colorado at the trade deadline Friday while Carlo ended up with Toronto.
