With the February 6 NBA trade deadline quickly approaching, it certainly appears that Julius Randle isn't going to be dealt. The latest evidence to support that notion comes from longtime Minnesota sports insider Darren Wolfson.

No matter how badly the Phoenix Suns may want Jimmy Butler, there just doesn't seem to be a viable way for them to get him. Nobody wants the Bradley Beal contract. Even if someone did, Beal himself doesn't seem eager to drop his no-trade clause to help the Suns dump him.

Randle went to the locker room during the second quarter of Thursday's game against the Jazz with an apparent right thigh injury, Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Randle looked to be in significant discomfort and didn't waste much time before heading in to the locker room to be examined further.

Forward Nickeil Alexander-Walker said after the game that coach Finch, "woke up choosing violence" and added that he's been yelling at everybody. Anthony Edwards also commented on his ejection, saying, "I think he went to sleep last night with violence on his mind."
