The Pittsburgh Penguins had to do more roster shuffling Monday ahead of their game against the San Jose Sharks. The starting point for the moves is not good news as the team placed Evgeni Malkin on injured reserve.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have placed forward Evgeni Malkin on injured reserve and recalled forward Jesse Puljujarvi from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League.
