As heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain hit parts of the Deep South, a blast of Arctic air plunged much of the Midwest and the eastern U.S. into a deep freeze.

The game will kick off on Sunday Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time. Super Bowl 59 will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, marking the 11th time the big game is hosted by the city. It is also the eighth time that the Superdome has hosted the Super Bowl, the most of any NFL stadium.

As a part of the NFL Salute to Service, Maye surprised the former combat medic with two tickets to this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans. The video, which was shot inside American Legion Post 17 in Portland, Maine, shows Jabaut talking about his time serving the country in the Army.

An Army veteran from Maine received a big surprise hand-delivered by Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. Staff Sgt. Matt Jabaut served as a combat medic and instructor. He's also a big Patriots fan, so getting to meet Maye was extra special.
