These former Green Bay Packers landed spots on 53-man NFL rosters
Cutdown day in the NFL brought a ton of roster moves around the NFL on Aug. 26, but the Green Bay Packers and others around the league have an initial 53-man roster. Several familiar names also continued their playing careers outside of Green Bay. Here's a look at ex- Packers who showed up on rosters:
Mark Murphy joins the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on Aug. 28. If not for the foresight of several supporters, he would have no hall to join.
Billy Howton of the Green Bay Packers during a 12-10 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Marquette Stadium in Milwaukee in 1952, his rookie year.
