Mickey Moniak finished a double shy of a cycle, Michael Toglia hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the fifth inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the Chicago White Sox 6-4 on Sunday to avoid a sweep in a series between the two worst teams in the majors.

Moniak — who was 3 for 4 with three RBIs — ended up a double shy of hitting for the cycle. Moniak, who started in center field, led off the first with a home run to right off Shane Smith, Moniak’s 13th homer of the season. He also singled in the seventh.

The Chicago White Sox have already clinched their weekend series against the Colorado Rockies, further burying the NL bottom-feeder in the MLB history books.
