Starting tomorrow, the PS5 is getting more expensive. In an announcement on the PlayStation blog, Sony has announced that the prices for all the different editions of the PS5 are increasing. Here is the list of new prices: PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – $499.99 PlayStation 5 Pro – $749.99

Before the hike gets into gear, you still have the option to grab a cheaper version. Deals hunter Wario 64 pointed out that the PS5 Slim model Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle still costs $400. Along with the $80 optical drive, it could be the cheapest way to get the stock standard PS5 before tomorrow’s price hikes.

Sony's decision to raise PS5 prices is not an isolated incident. Other gaming companies, including Nintendo and Microsoft, have also increased the prices of their consoles and peripherals. The move is largely attributed to economic challenges such as supply chain issues and manufacturing costs exacerbated by US import taxes.
