Legendary halftime performer Red Panda is out of the hospital but dealing with a broken left wrist after falling during a performance at the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship game Tuesday night. Rong “Krystal” Niu, who is better known as Red Panda, intends to be ready for next NBA season, according to The Associated Press.

Red Panda, known for balancing and flipping up to 12 bowls on her head while riding a 7-foot-high unicycle, took a nasty spill tonight during a buzzy WNBA game.

Red Panda, the iconic halftime acrobat, suffered a serious left wrist injury while performing stunts at the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship game. Minneapolis hosted the game on July 1, 2025.
