A 43-year-old Macomb County man won $4 million on a Michigan Lottery scratch-off ticket he initially thought was a dud. The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the winning Magnificent Millions ticket at 9 Mile Stop & Go,

A stunned Michigan Lottery winner says he had difficulty believing the validity of his jackpot win. The 38-year-old man from Clinton County won big while playing the Michigan Lottery’s Caribbean Cashword instant game. He said he deposited $40 into his account, then secured a huge jackpot prize on his second game.

“Winning $4 million is life changing for anyone, but especially for this young woman who is only 26 years old,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “She will be able to use this prize to positively impact her life for many years to come.”
