Some of the similarities in the cases brought against Sean “Diddy” Combs this week and Robert Sylvester Kelly several years ago are evident at a glance: Both are world famous, powerful and influential musicians who were accused of sex crimes by federal prosecutors in New York City.

Combs’ public image projected wealth and achievement, but the indictment that led to his arrest paints a more sinister picture of his private life.

Combs, who is facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, is currently being held in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center on suicide watch, after his arrest in Manhattan Monday and subsequent bail denial, according to People.
