According to multiple reports, prolific character actor Wings Hauser has died at the age of 78. Variety reports Hauser, best known for his roles in “The Young and the Restless” and “Vice Squad,” died March 15 in Los Angeles of natural causes. The outlet said his wife Cali Lili Hauser confirmed his death.

You may not know his name but you would probably recognize him from roles in “The Young and the Restless,” “Kingpin,” “Rosanne” and “Beverly Hills 90210.”

Gerald “Wings” Hauser, a prolific character actor who appeared in more than 100 film and television productions, has died at the age of 77. Hauser’s wife announced her husband’s death in an Instagram post Wednesday, March 19. Variety reported the actor died of natural causes.
