Superbrawl was a staple PPV event in WCW from 1991 to 2001. In the main event of the first ever Superbrawl, Ric Flair successfully won the WCW and NWA Championships by defeating Tatsumi Fujinami.

However, admittedly, sometimes WCW's content was woeful, and some PPV events were terrible, an absolute fiasco. Still, those mediocre PPVs featured at least one good or decent match.

WCW made it a regular part of its pay-per-view lineup beginning at 1993 Fall Brawl; it was held at the event every year until 1998.
