Following a 34-0 dismantling of Big Ten rival Wisconsin, Ohio State will enjoy a week off and return to the field next Saturday, Nov. 1, when it hosts The Penn State Nittany Lions. That matchup no longer has the buildup of what it was at the beginning of the season because of Penn State's struggles, but the two always seem to play a close game.
The Buckeyes are undefeated in the season and have already defeated teams like Texas, Washington, and Penn State. No opponent seems to be too hard, and defending that national title is within reach.
No. 1 Ohio State (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) takes on the unranked Penn State Nittany Lions (3-4, 0-4 Big Ten) at noon ET Saturday on Fox. It will be the Buckeyes’ third appearance on “Fox Big Noon Kickoff,” following the season opener against the Texas Longhorns and an Oct. 11 game against the Illinois Fighting Illini, which was on the road.
Ohio State football had an open date for Week 8, but ESPN has updated the Buckeyes chances of winning each remaining game on the 2025 schedule.
