Nintendo Switch 2 is officially here. April's Nintendo Switch 2 Direct revealed a huge number of games for the console, with a number of additional ones being confirmed since then. There are plenty of rumors about other games that could eventually debut on the console,

This new and improved version is launching on the Switch 2 next Spring, and Bellabel Park is the main addition that's been showcased. It's a new plaza where you can partake in a bunch of minigames with your friends.

While Indiana Jones and The Great Circle was originally released as an Xbox/PC exclusive in 2024, Bethesda eventually ported it to the PlayStation 5 in April 2025. And if that wasn’t enough, the recent announcement of an upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 port took everyone by surprise.

Nintendo is rumored to have delayed the release of the Switch 2 so that game developers could perfect their games for it.

The Switch 2 is about to become a hub for horror, as during the September Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced that it was bringing ports of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village to the Switch 2, while Resident Evil 9: Requiem will come to the console as well. All three games are launching for Switch 2 on February 27, 2026.

The most recent Nintendo Direct just finished wrapping up, and it had a lot of new and exciting announcements for both the Switch and Switch 2 consoles. Many new games were announced for both, with the most juicy releases being scheduled for Spring 2026.
