The NHL's Los Angeles Kings have postponed Wednesday's home game against the Calgary Flames due to ongoing wildfires in the region that have led to evacuation orders for 70,000 people and killed at least two.

Lakers coach JJ Redick and Warriors coach Steve Kerr said family members are safe after being forced to evacuate due to the Palisades wildfires.

The City of Los Angeles declared a state of emergency over the massive fire, which spanned nearly 3,000 acres as of Tuesday evening.

While fans may be upset with James not looking dejected after the loss, he was one of the few bright spots for the Lakers. The 40-year-old posted 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in 35 minutes of action.

Quinten Grimes had 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists as the Dallas Mavericks snapped a five-game skid with a 118-97 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
