The Iowa high school basketball season is well underway and there are plenty of games to keep an eye on, both boys and girls, happening around the state Tuesday night. Check out scores from many of the games across the state below.

Here are three takeaways from Waukee’s win over Ankeny on Tuesday. The Warriors certainly started with momentum. Four different players – Pete Craig, Jai White, Max Roach and Maverick Inman – scored five 3-pointers in the opening quarter. And that wasn’t across all eight minutes, but rather one right after the other in the opening minutes.
