DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, June 11, 2006 - HP has launched the LaserJet 5200 Printer series which is designed for businesses and public sector organisations with small to medium-sized work teams.

HP announced in a security bulletin this week that it would take up to 90 days to patch a critical-severity vulnerability that impacts the firmware of certain business-grade printers.

HP is discontinuing its controversial HP Plus and Instant Ink subscription services for its laserjet printers but not its inkjet ones. Existing customers shouldn’t be affected.
