The first day of fall certainly won’t feel like it with warm temperatures
( PINPOINT WEATHER) — The first day of fall is today and it will not feel anything like the season. We are starting mild this morning, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. The fall season officially starts at 8:44 a.m. but later this afternoon we will forget what season it is already.
Sunday, the first day of fall, looks sunny and warm
If you liked the last couple days of summer, you’re going to love the first few days of autumn. Portland will see sunny skies Sunday and a light breeze with a high temperature near 76 degrees, according to forecasters at the National Weather Service.
Fall begins tomorrow with cooler temperatures

The heat continues for the first day of fall
It’ll officially be fall but the weather will still have a summer-like feel. Above-average temperatures will take us into Sunday and Monday as highs return to around 90. The humidity won’t be as high as it was in the thick of summer but it’ll certainly hang on enough to make the heat index values rise to the upper 90s.

Hot first day of fall
Fall arrives Sunday with the Autumnal Equinox at 7:43am, but summer heat will hang on for a few more days. The forecast remains dry for now as well with rain chances not returning until the second half of next week ahead of a cold front and a likely tropical system in the Gulf.
