The reign of The Hurt Syndicate has come to end in a rather chaotic manner, with Bandido and Brody King now reigning as the AEW Tag Team Champions.

Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) captured the AEW Tag Team Championships at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating the Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).
