The Fall and Rise of Elvis Presley," a new Netflix documentary produced by Words + Pictures, details June of 1968 which is arguably the most significant crossroads of Elvis' iconic career.

“At a certain stage, I had no say so in it,” the icon said of his film career. “I didn’t have final approval of the script, which means I couldn’t say, ‘This is not good for me,’ and so I became very discouraged.”

It follows Elvis' iconic 1968 comeback special from Presley that relaunched his singing career after years of making movies.
