Steph has already said publicly that he doesn’t want to play for another coach. So how, for you, does Steve come into your equation? Draymond Green: I struggle with change. I hate change. I am very much so (the type of person where) this thing happens like this and that’s that.

Early on, Green learned to feed off the negativity of being told that he was "too small" to play a big man's role. He converted it to positive energy, which gave him the confidence to go up against the opposing team's best players. More often than not, it worked.

Unfortunately, the Grizzlies haven't won a playoff series since 2022 and entered this season with extra pressure on their two premier stars, Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., especially after Desmond Bane was dealt to the Orlando Magic.
