The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association announced its all-state teams for the 2024-25 IHSA boys basketball season.

First team all-state. Committed to Air Force. Al Brooks Jr., Rich Township, senior, forward: Averaged 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists while leading the Raptors to a fourth-place finish in Class 4A in his only season at Rich Township.

League champion Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart also dominated the all-league teams for the 2024-25 Mid-State Activities Conference boys basketball season. Three Sacred Heart players – Noah Zeien, Grady Pieratt and Brody Cherry – earned First Team honors,
